Do I still need an Apollo account?

Only the free tier — to find the search filters you want. You build the search inside Apollo, copy the URL, paste it into ghostleads, we deliver the CSV. The free tier costs $0, which is also our favorite Apollo subscription tier.

How does pricing work — per row or per email?

Accepted Answer

For people exports we charge per row with an email. Names, titles, companies and LinkedIn URLs for rows without an email still land in your CSV — those don't cost anything. And when you pick a verify mode, rows the verifier marks invalid are also free — you only pay for emails that pass. We charge the maximum upfront based on the row count you requested, then auto-refund the unused portion once the job finishes. Company exports are billed per company delivered (no email step).

How is this so much cheaper than Apollo Professional?

We export in bulk, you pay per-use. We don't run a sales team, we don't have account managers, and we don't bill you monthly for capacity you don't use. The pricing math is straightforward arithmetic — no enterprise sales tricks.

Question 4

Who actually verifies the emails?

Accepted Answer

Pick your verifier when you start a job: MillionsVerifier (industry standard, faster + cheaper at $4/1k) or LeadMagic (single-vendor stack — LeadMagic finder + LeadMagic verify, stricter verdict, $5/1k). The verification status from each vendor lands as its own column in your CSV — full transparency. Catch-all domains are flagged separately so you can decide what to do with them. And rows the verifier explicitly marks as invalid don't count toward your bill — you ship them in the CSV labeled invalid, but you only pay for emails that pass verification.

What happens if you can't find an email for someone?

You don't pay for that row, full stop. The row still ships in your CSV with name, title, company and LinkedIn URL — useful for manual research even without an email. Same applies in verify mode: if the verifier rejects an email as invalid, you ship the row with the label but you're not charged. We charge upfront for the maximum, auto-refund the rows we couldn't enrich, and you see the rows-vs-emails breakdown on your dashboard. Failed jobs get a 100% refund within minutes. The whole point of this product is to not be the ones owing you money.

Are the 500 free leads really free?

Yes — every new account gets 1 credit ($1 of usage) the moment you sign in, which covers a 500-prospect Apollo export. No card, no trial period, no automatic charge. Verified-email exports use the credit a bit faster (250 prospects with MillionsVerifier, 200 with LeadMagic), but the credit itself is yours to spend however you want.

Do credits expire?

Never. No subscription, no monthly minimum, no auto-charge. Top up once, use it across a year if you want — that's fine. We'd rather you actually use the product than feel rushed into it.

How long does an export take?

A few hundred rows: ~5 minutes. 5,000 rows: 15–30 minutes. We email you when it's ready and the CSV is downloadable from your dashboard for as long as your account exists.
